What Determines An Ethical Person?
Being ethical: A common theme amongst all individuals in our world today, especially
physicians and attorneys. I would like to focus, however, on medicine for the
relevance of my aims in writing this.
What is the prime directive of a physician?
The answer is to provide a standard of care that exceeds the parameters of normal
human need (with regard to certain circumstances i.e. sudden drastic injury,
etc.) In providing service to Dean Kantis, Dr. Caro showed only the highest regard
to him in trying to cure whatever eye problem he may have incurred. Yet, Dean
Kantis has shown himself to provide another agenda: the need to defame my father
who mind you has received accolades from some of the most well known surgeons
in Ophthamology today.
Dean Kantis is confused....I pity the poor man...I suppose he should pick up
a book on ethics before he goes on a rant about how bad LASIK and my father are.
As far as I know, Dean Kantis treated my father with the utmost disrespect firstly
in trying to gain punitive damages for unethical actions not committed by my
father and secondly, creating an atrocity he calls a website to hurt my family
and
I ...
What determines an ethical person? In this case, I would say a person who does
not hide behind a website to try and get his way....You know what I am talking
about, don't you Dean Kantis??? |
